BAR, Montenegro – The Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) and her crew arrived in Bar, Montenegro, for a scheduled port visit June 24.
The port visit serves to enhance relations between the United States and Montenegro as the two nations work together to provide a stable, secure, and prosperous Europe.

MOSCOW, June 17. /TASS/. The small-size guided-missile ship Mirazh of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet has called out of the port of Sevastopol and is heading for the Mediterranean where it will join the Russian permanent naval grouping, the chief press officer of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain 1st Rank Vyacheslav Trukhachov told TASS on Wednesday.
"This is the first long-distance mission for the ship’s crew and it is effectuated in line with a plan for the rotations of forces," he said.
More than ten ships of the Black Sea Fleet and the Baltic Fleet are performing tasks in the Mediterranean at present. Their list includes the missile-carrying cruiser Moskva, the frigate Pytlivy, the missile-carrying airfoil ship Samum, and the big amphibious ship Alexander Shabalin.
